LU welcomes ASLEFs intention to call off industrial action

We will continue to meet with the trade unions to discuss and resolve all issues
An LU spokesperson said: "We are pleased that ASLEF are to recommend that this Thursday's planned Tube strike is called off, following constructive talks with London Underground.
"We have maintained throughout that the best way to resolve all issues is through discussion and consultation.
"We have also held constructive talks with RMT and hope that it will also call off any planned strike action.
"We will continue to meet with the trade unions to discuss and resolve all issues."
LU is continuing talks with the RMT union to avert strike action planned for the same day.
