Passengers are advised to use nearby stations or buses after 2200

While ongoing refurbishment work takes place, trains will not stop at Great Portland Street station from 2200 until close of service each night from 26 September until 4 March 2006, except on 24, 26 and 31 December and 1 January 2006.

The ticket office will remain open and passenger-operated ticket machines will be available after 2200 during this time for the purchase of Travelcards and Oyster card top-ups.

The refurbishment works being undertaken by Metronet Rail SSL will include improved CCTV coverage, installation of customer help points, an enhanced public address system and complete station redecoration.

After 2200 from 26 September, customers are advised to use Regent's Park station on the Bakerloo line, Warren Street on the Victoria line or London buses to/from Baker Street or Euston Square.
