Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys

Following a line train radio failure earlier this afternoon, Central line services have been severely disrupted throughout the day but have now resumed to all destinations.

While the line train radio fault has now been repaired, passengers should continue to expect delays on the Central line throughout the evening peak.

LU passengers travelling on the Central line between Liverpool Street and Ealing Broadway/West Ruislip this evening are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.

Alternative travel arrangements

To support Central line services, a special bus service will be in operation until 1900 hours between Northholt and Rayners Lane to connect with Piccadilly line services, and between North Acton and Willesden Junction to connect with Bakerloo line services.

Valid Underground tickets will be accepted on:

  • Chiltern Railways between West Ruislip and London Marylebone
