The works are part of TfL's 5-year £10bn Investment Programme and are being carried out by Tube Lines.

The station will be closed on the above dates so floor resurfacing in the ticket hall can be carried out.

Other modernisation works include the decoration of the station, installation of CCTV cameras and passenger Help Points, as well as the refurbishment of the spiral staircase and lifts.

Modernisation works are due to be completed in February 2006.

Passengers travelling from/to Caledonian Road Station should use King's Cross St Pancras Station and take local buses 17, 91, N91 or 259.

Customers are advised to allow an extra 20 minutes to complete their journeys, especially those wishing to make last train connections.
