When the work, which is being undertaken by Tube Lines, is complete, the station's 53,000 weekly customers will benefit from a much more attractive and convenient station.

Improvements include an improved public address system and CCTV, new customer information screens, better lighting and complete redecoration of the station.

So that work can be undertaken safely it will be necessary for the station to close at 2200 from Sunday to Friday for four weeks from Sunday 22 May to Friday 17 June.

On Saturday evenings, the station will remain open as normal until 0125.

From Sunday to Friday throughout this phase of the refurbishment, late evening trains will be replaced by special buses.

The service will run between Acton Town and Ealing Common.

Valid London Underground tickets will be accepted on local bus routes between:

  • Ealing Common and Ealing Broadway:
    Routes 207, N207, 427, 607 and N7
  • Ealing Common and North Ealing:
    Routes 207, N207, 427, and N7.

Passengers are advised to allow at least an extra 15 minutes for their journeys.
