RfLI (Elizabeth line) Graduate

How long: 2 Years

Where: You will be based across our three sites in Stratford, Romford & Plumstead. Occasional travel to other locations may be required.

Salary: £28,500 rising to £30,000 in year 2

What you'll be doing

As a graduate your 2-year development programme will be made up of up of a number of placements. Our aim is to equip you with a range of skills and experience you need for a successful career. Placements will last typically for between 6 and 12 months.

You will initially start with a corporate induction to TfL and the Elizabeth Line, followed by some more bespoke training and familiarisation across the teams. Once completed you will then move into completing a number of placement opportunities across departments.

We also understand that everyone's career is different, so every graduate's journey is unique. Here is an idea of what an Operations focused placement plan could involve:

Placement 1 - Network Operations - this is the Core of the operation that delivers the signalling, control and incident response for the Central Operating Section.
Placement 2 - Specialist Operations - this area oversees all operational projects that interface with the Elizabeth Line as well as leading our stakeholder management activities.
Placement 3 - Network Assurance - this area includes competence and assurance, ensuring both our people and our processes are fit and proper for our operation.

Placement  4 - Network Performance and Strategy - this area includes overseeing performance related activities for the Elizabeth Line, timetabling, future strategy and delay attribution.

You will also be offered a variety of training courses to support your development and opportunities to spend time with the wider TfL business where applicable.

Where this career can take you

You will acquire the necessary skills, training and development that will enable you to move into a range of roles across the Elizabeth Line Operations Team, including some of our front-line operational roles. The opportunities are huge, and the programme aims to provide you with a solid footing that will enable to have a successful career in the industry upon completion of your programme.
