How long: 2 years
Where: London-based hybrid working. Expected 1-2 days on average in the office (subject to working patterns and business requirements).
Salary: £28,500
What you'll need
A minimum degree of 2:2 or a Masters in the following:
- Estate Management
- Property Management
- Real Estate
- Real Estate Management
- Or a similar Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredited degree
What you'll be doing
Our Commercial Development teams focus on generating non-fare related revenue for the organisation covering commercial partnerships, advertising, retail and property development.
Commercial Property is at the heart of solving some of our City's biggest challenges:
- Housing pressures
- TfL's financial sustainability
- And the need to keep London moving, working and growing
As a graduate, your two-year development programme will be made up of up to four placement rotations. Our aim is to equip you with the range of skills and experience you need for your successful career.
All graduates start their programme in the Commercial Property Management team.
Following placements will be mutually agreed to ensure you gain experience on the widest possible range of technologies, tools and teams.
In your second year, you'll have the opportunity to tailor your programme to closely match your needs and interests.

Upon completing the graduate scheme, you'll join one of the various property teams within Commercial Development. There, you'll be supported to pass your RICS APC and gain your chartership.
Over the next five years, successful graduates will work towards becoming Senior Surveyors or Development Managers over the next five years, while developing their leadership, technical and professional skills through on-the-job training.
