Before you start

Fleet Auto Pay automatically records the number of charging days a vehicle travels within the Congestion Charge zone, and then bills users each month.

To apply you need to:

  • Complete a Direct Debit mandate as part of your application
  • Provide certain documents about your company
  • Be over 18

Documents you need

You'll need to provide 1 of the following:

  • Registered companies - headed paper with your company number OR a copy of your company's Certificate of Incorporation (issued by Companies House or the equivalent within an EEA state)
  • Public organisations - headed paper including organisation name (further verification may be required)
  • Charities - headed paper including organisation name and registered charity number

London Road User Charging account

You also need to set up a London Road User Charging account before applying for Fleet Auto Pay. (Sign in now if you already have an account.)

Account features:

  • Add up to 5 additional authorised users
  • Each user gets a unique login
  • Optional services include mobile phone text alerts to help you manage your account

Once you sign in to your new London Road User Charging account, you will be directed to complete your Fleet Auto Pay application.

Paying the Congestion Charge

Setting up Fleet Auto Pay can take up to 10 working days to complete.

Until we have confirmed that you can add vehicles to activate your service, you will need to pay the Congestion Charge another way if your vehicles are driven within the zone.
