BALHAM UNDERGROUND STATION: From Monday 28 June until late December, there will be no down escalator service at all times, access to platforms will be via a fixed staircase. As customer demand increases, for safety reasons the station may at times have to operate as 'exit only' on weekday mornings between 07:30 and 09:30. At these times, or if you have luggage or buggies at any time, you may find it easier to use nearby Clapham South or Tooting Bec stations. Both stations are a short walk away or can be reached via bus routes 155, 249 or 255. If travelling with Southern, continue to Victoria and use other Underground routes.

By the Police station, turn right and use the pedestrian crossing and continue along Yew Tree Avenue. The vaccination centre will be on your left, shortly after the mini roundabout. Buses 103 and 364 stop just to the north of Dagenham East station. No one should go to a vaccination centre unless they have been in contact with the NHS and have an appointment booked. They will not be vaccinated without an appointment and they cannot book an appointment by going to a centre.

TOTTENHAM HALE STATION: Lift replacement work at Tottenham Hale between Monday 31 May and late January 2022: Access to/from the Victoria line at Tottenham Hale will be via escalator, or a fixed staircase with 100 steps. Passengers travelling with luggage to or from Stansted Airport should use Stansted Express services to or from Liverpool Street station. This has connections with Central, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan line services, many bus routes in central London and a licensed Taxi rank. For step-free National Rail/Stansted Express journeys from Stansted or Tottenham Hale towards Liverpool Street there is step-free access from the National Rail station to the eastbound Circle line platform, providing a direct link to the Victoria line and National Rail station at Victoria. For step-free National Rail/Stansted Express journeys from Liverpool Street towards Tottenham Hale/Stansted Airport, take the Victoria line to King’s Cross St Pancras and change there for eastbound Circle, Hammersmith & City or Metropolitan line services. The nearest alternative step-free Victoria line station to Tottenham Hale is Finsbury Park. There is no direct bus connection between Finsbury Park and Tottenham Hale, although route 259 connects Tottenham High Road with Finsbury Park.
