A40 Westway
We started work to refurbish the Westway in 2021

A316 London Road roundabout
Improving the roundabout will make it easier to get to Twickenham town centre and improve journey times

Bank & Monument
Improvements we're making at the interlinked stations of Bank and Monument will include several new escalators, a new station entrance and more room for Northern line passengers by 2022

Barking Riverside extension
Construction on this extension to London Overground is underway - train services should begin in 2022

Battersea Bridge safety
We're taking steps at Battersea Bridge to make the area safer for people walking and cycling

Bollo Lane
Ealing Council has given us permission to develop some of our land along Bollo Lane to create more than 800 new homes in Acton

Cycleway 4
Cycleway 4 will give cyclists a continuous segregated route between Tower Bridge and Greenwich, and improve pedestrian facilities and public spaces

Cycleway 9
Cycleway 9 will create a continuous, largely-segregated route between Kensington Olympia and Brentford town centre, via Hammersmith and Chiswick

Elephant & Castle station
Work has started to prepare Elephant & Castle station for a new entrance and ticket hall

Elizabeth line - look ahead
The Elizabeth line runs from Reading and Heathrow to Abbey Wood and Shenfield - it opened 24 May 2022

Four Lines Modernisation
We are transforming the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines to increase capacity and boost reliability, making journeys faster and more comfortable

Hammersmith Bridge
We're supporting Hammersmith & Fulham Council to repair and reopen the bridge

Knightsbridge
Knightsbridge Tube station will get step-free access in 2023, reached by a new entrance at Hooper's Court

Lambeth Bridge roundabouts
Our long-term plans to transform the roundabouts at Lambeth Bridge are still being updated

Lavender Hill
Changes at Lavender Hill/Elspeth Road Junction will make the area safer for all road users

Managing road verges for wildlife
We want to extend our trial to encourage wildflower growth and biodiversity on our grass verges

Nine Elms
Our work to help with regeneration around Nine Elms Lane and Battersea Park Road (A3205) is due to continue until 2025

Old Street roundabout and station
Work to make the Old Street area more pedestrian and cycle-friendly should be complete in spring 2023

Paddington Bakerloo ticket hall
Paddington Tube station will get a new, larger Bakerloo ticket hall and step-free access to the Bakerloo line from street level

Piccadilly line upgrade
We're doing work to modernise the Piccadilly line and prepare for the arrival of new trains from 2025

Silvertown Tunnel
We're building a new road tunnel under the Thames linking the Greenwich Peninsula and Silvertown

South Kensington station
We're working to reduce congestion and improve access at South Kensington station

Step-free access
We're adding step-free access to more Tube and London Overground stations

Work to rebuild Tottenham Hale station will continue until spring 2022

Vauxhall Cross gyratory
We plan to convert the two-way system back to one-way

Plans are underway to regenerate Wandsworth town centre

Waterloo roundabout
We are working on proposals to create better public spaces around the Waterloo roundabout
