The events will take place on the following dates:
Details on the championships and how to get tickets can be found at the Summer of World Athletics page.
With the exception of the Marathon, morning and evening athletics sessions will be held within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, and will be ticketed events.
If you're travelling in east London during this time or attending the events you are advised to plan ahead, and allow more time to complete journeys.
The athletics sessions will start and end at different times and Tube, rail and bus journeys will be affected differently across the championship.
On Marathon day, expect road closures, busier stations and bus service changes in central London and in parts of east London. The date of the Marathon will be confirmed nearer the time.
More information on how London's transport network will operate during the World Championships will be available on this page in the coming months.
