Travelling to Prudential RideLondon

**The information in this section relates to the 2016 event - please check back nearer the time for details for 2017. The dates for next year's Prudential RideLondon festival of cycling are Saturday 29-Sunday 30 July 2017**

For full information on routes and events, see Prudential RideLondon's info hub.

Travelling by Tube and rail

Tube and rail will be the best way to get around central London on the day, but Stratford station and some stations around the routes are expected to be busier than usual. Plan your journey using our journey planner.

If you're taking part in RideLondon and are planning on taking your bike on public transport, please use National Rail's PlusBike service for free information about your combined cycle and mainline rail journey.

Planned works

Your journey may be affected by work over the Prudential RideLondon weekend. This includes:

  • Northern line: no service between Hampstead, High Barnet and Mill Hill East, and Charing Cross/Moorgate Replacement buses will operate
  • East London line of the London Overground
  • National Rail works

View TfL's closures on our status page for Friday 29, Saturday 30 or Sunday 31 July.

For up-to-date information on how transport services are running, follow @TfLTravelAlerts on Twitter.

    Using Santander Cycles

    • Sardinia Street
    • Somerset House
    • Waterloo Bridge

Bike mechanics will be on hand to help Santander Cycles users and other cyclists with any bike problems.

There are more than 11,000 bikes at over 750 docking stations situated every 300 to 500 metres in London. Visit our cycling section for full information.
