From Saturday 26 May until mid-September, Bank branch trains will not stop at Kennington and there will be no interchange between the branches.

The Northern and Victoria lines and some stations are likely to be busier so if you can please avoid the busiest times, allow extra time for your journey or use alternative routes.

Travelling from Kennington

  • For central London, please use Charing Cross branch trains for alternative Tube routes
  • For stations towards Morden, please use Charing Cross trains, which will run approximately every 10 minutes throughout the day

The platforms at Kennington station are busiest between 08:30-08:45 and 17:00-17:30. If you can, avoid travelling during these times for a more comfortable journey.

For Oval:

  • Use local bus routes 133, 155, 333, 415 N133 or N155 from stop KA outside the station
  • It is approximately three minutes' cycle via Cycle Superhighway 7. The nearest Santander Cycles docking station is opposite this station
  • It is approximately 11 minutes' walk

For Elephant & Castle:

  • Use local bus routes 133, 155, 333, 415 N133 or N155 from stop KB opposite the station
  • It is approximately three minutes' cycle via Cycle Superhighway 7. The nearest Santander Cycles docking station is opposite the station
  • It is approximately 11 minutes' walk

From Monday to Thursday, the last southbound train towards Morden will be at 00:41

On Sundays, the last southbound train towards Morden will be at 23:53
