Today's service changes include:

  • Tube: Saturday service and weekday service on Waterloo & City line
    • Circle line closed between Aldgate and Edgware Road via Victoria
    • District line closed between South Kensington and Edgware Road/Ealing Broadway/Richmond/Wimbledon/Kensington (Olympia)
    • Piccadilly line trains will also call at District line stations between Acton Town and Hammersmith (Note: except during Night Tube)
  • TfL Rail: No service on the entire line. Replacement buses will call at stations (except Liverpool Street and Maryland), as well as Newbury Park, for the Central line
  • Buses: A Saturday service in the day, usual Friday service at night
  • London Overground: No service on the following routes:
    • Highbury & Islington to Dalston Junction
    • Camden Road to Stratford
    • Romford to Upminster
    • Gospel Oak to Barking
    • Edmonton Green and Cheshunt
  • Driving: The Congestion Charge and T-Charge won't apply. Planned road works, including on the A1 Holloway Road
  • National Rail: Service changes and planned works
  • DLR: A weekend service every 3-10 minutes
  • Trams: Saturday service
  • Rivers: A one-boat service on the Woolwich Ferry
  • Emirates Air Line: Open 07:00-23:00

Tube

  • An amended weekday timetable on Waterloo & City line and Saturday timetable on all other lines
  • Circle line closed between Aldgate and Edgware Road via Victoria (until Saturday 30 December 2017)

Rail replacement buses will run:

  • Service A: Wimbledon - Hammersmith calling at Wimbledon Park, Southfields, East Putney (Putney Bridge Road), Putney Bridge.
  • Service B: Wimbledon - Earl's Court calling at Putney Bridge, Parsons Green, Fulham Broadway, West Brompton.
  • Use London Overground and/or bus route 391 between Richmond and Turnham Green.

TfL Rail

No services today (until Monday 1 January 2018).

Replacement buses will run approximately:

  • Every 15 minutes between Chadwell Heath and Shenfield, calling at: Romford, Gidea Park, Harold Wood, Brentwood as well as Newbury Park (for the Central line)
  • Every 10 minutes between Stratford and Romford, calling at: Forest Gate, Manor Park, Ilford, Seven Kings, Goodmayes and Chadwell Heath

For Maryland, please walk or use local buses to/from Stratford.

London Overground

  • Amended Saturday service on most open lines
  • Reduced services from Liverpool Street to Enfield Town/Chingford with trains not stopping at Bethnal Green, Cambridge Heath, London Fields, Hackney Downs and Clapton
  • No service between Edmonton Green and Cheshunt (until Monday 1 January 2018)
  • No service between Highbury & Islington and Dalston Junction (until Saturday 30 December 2017)
  • No service between Camden Road and Stratford (until Saturday 30 December 2017)
    • Rail replacement bus service will call at Camden Road, Finsbury Park (Tube), Dalston Junction (for Dalston Kingsland), Hackney Central, Homerton, Hackney Wick and Stratford
  • No service between Romford and Upminster (until Monday 1 January 2018)
    • Use bus 370 instead
  • No service between Gospel Oak and Barking (until Sunday 14 January 2018)

Driving

  • The Congestion Charge and T-Charge won't apply today
  • See the travel advice for road users page for expected traffic from roadworks over the Christmas period
  • Roadworks include:
    • Highbury Corner Bridge: A1 Holloway Road closed in both directions between Highbury Corner roundabout and Digswell Street. Local access arrangements necessary and routes on diversion
    • Chelsea Embankment works: Chelsea Embankment will be closed to westbound traffic from Chelsea Bridge Road to Beaufort Street
    • Hammersmith Bridge: Hammersmith Bridge will be closed to all vehicles from 08:00-18:00. Temporary diversion routes will be in place

Buses

Saturday service on day routes except:

  • An enhanced Saturday service is running on routes 7, 38, 93, 94, 120, 133, 149, 159, 209, 343, 344, 507 and W7
  • A limited service is running on 'Monday to Friday only' routes 521 and X68
  • A normal service on night buses
