If you're travelling in London over Christmas and New Year, your journey may be affected by planned works and service changes. This page provides you with travel advice during the festive period.
**The information below relates to 2015 - please check back nearer the time for details of 2016's travel changes**
During the quieter Christmas and New Year period, planned work will take place on parts of London's public transport and road network. Also, New Year's events in central London will involve road closures and bus diversions, and make the transport network busier than usual.
Changes over the festive season also include the Congestion Charge, which won't apply between 25 December 2015 - Sunday 3 January 2016.
Visit National Rail's site to find out more about planned works affecting London's mainline rail stations, or find out about TfL's service changes using the links below.
If you're travelling to Hyde Park, avoid Hyde Park Corner and Marble Arch stations, which are expected to be very busy for Winter Wonderland.
Green Park (with step-free access), Victoria and Knightsbridge stations are a short walk from Hyde Park.
On Thursday 14 - Sunday 17 January 2016, London will host the Lumiere light festival on the streets of the West End and King's Cross. To facilitate the event, some roads will be closed and stations may be busier than usual.
