Impact of the works
There will be repair works on the A41 Edgware Way bridge (next to Apex Corner) over the M1 until summer 2022.
All main approach roads and surrounding local roads will be busy - expect significant delays to your journey.

Driving
Through traffic (including freight)
The A41 Edgware Way and surrounding roads will be extremely busy. Expect significant delays to your journey.
Travelling east/west across London
- If you do not need local access, use the M25 as an alternative route
Travelling to/from central London
- Use the A1 and the A10 as alternatives
- These routes will be busier
- Plan ahead and allow more time for your journey
Local traffic
- Businesses and shops in the area will be open as usual
- Roads will be extremely busy - expect significant delays
- For short journeys in and around the area it is likely to be quicker to walk, or cycle, where possible

- There will be delays on these routes: 113, 186, 292, 384, 605, 606, 614, 644 and N113
- There will be diversions on routes 113, 186 and N113 on these dates in 2022:

Bus stops
These bus stops will be suspended from 14 June to 15 July (24 hours):
- Apex Corner (Stop K)
- Glendor Gardens (Stop U)
These bus stops will be suspended overnight (22.00-05.00) 15-16 July:
- Oakmede Gardens (Stop L)
- Edgware Way (Stop M)
- Highview Avenue (Stop N)
- The Grove (Stop E)
- Broadfields Avenue (Stop F)
- Glendale Avenue (Stop R)
- Apex Corner (Stop K)
Coaches
- No coach bays are suspended or relocated as part of these works
- Expect disruption to journey times and routes
- Coaches travelling through the area (including coaches to airports) will be delayed
- Coach passengers: check with your operator before you travel

Full directional closures - A41 westbound approach
At these times all lanes on the A41 westbound between the Apex Corner Roundabout and Oakmead Gardens will be fully closed.
Follow signed diversions.
