Highways England need to carry out works on the M4. The section of the A4 which runs underneath it will be affected.

For access to key areas in west London, such as Heathrow Airport, your journey may be quicker using rail or underground services, such as the Piccadilly Line.
The H91 bus route that uses the A4 through the works area will continue to have access. The bus stops between Clayponds Avenue and Ealing Road will be suspended.
Surrounding roads will be busier, which is likely to affect other bus routes in the area.
There are cycle tracks on the footway along the A4 - these will remain open throughout the works.
Pedestrian access will not be affected while the closures are in place.
Freight journeys may be best made overnight when traffic volumes are lower, however will need to reroute to avoid the A4 between Ealing Road and Clayponds Avenue while works are in place.
Signed diversion routes will be in place which will be suitable for all HGVs (there are no restrictions on height or weight). These are:
•Eastbound traffic - Ealing Road, Uxbridge Road and the A406
•Westbound traffic - M4
