The Congestion Charge is an £11.50 daily charge for driving a vehicle within the charging zone between 07:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday. The easiest way to pay is by setting up Auto Pay. Exemptions and discounts are available too.
The Congestion Charge will not operate from 25 December to 1 January.
You'll also need to check if your vehicle is affected by the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).
The cost of the daily Congestion Charge payments is cut by up to £1 if you set up Auto Pay. There's an annual registration charge of £10 for each vehicle you register.

A proposal to make permanent changes to the Congestion Charge scheme would be subject to a full public consultation.
