Route 209 - Rerouted

From Saturday 3 August route 209 will be changed with buses rerouted at Barnes High Street via Church Road, Barnes Red Lion and Castlenau to terminate at the south side of Hammersmith Bridge. At Hammersmith Bridge you can then walk across the bridge to the north side where you will find route 72 buses to take you on to Hammersmith Station.

Route 209 will run every 8 minutes during the day Monday to Friday and every 10 minutes during the evening. On Saturday's route 209 will run every 15 minutes before 0700, every 8 minutes during the day and every 10 minutes during the evening. On Sunday's route 209 will run every 15 minutes before 0800 and then every 10 minutes for the rest of the day.

The first bus will depart from Mortlake at 0500 and from the south side of Hammersmith Bridge at 0503. The last bus will depart from Mortlake at 0050 and from the south side of Hammersmith Bridge at 0103. These times apply on every day of the week.

For stops between Barnes High Street and Putney Bridge please use new route 378 instead.

New route 378 - Rerouted

From Saturday 3 August new route 378 will be introduced between Mortlake, Avondale Road and Putney Bridge Station. Buses will run via Avondale Road, Mortlake High Street, The Terrace, Barnes Bridge Station, Barnes High Street, Church Road, Station Road, Mill Hill Road, Lower Richmond Road and Putney Bridge.

On Monday to Saturdays route 378 will run every 15 minutes before 0630 (0830 on Saturdays) and then every 12 minutes for the rest of the day. On Sunday's route 378 will run every 20 minutes before 0740, then every 15 minutes until 0855 and then every 12 minutes for the rest of the day.

The first bus will depart from Mortlake at 0500 and from Putney Bridge at 0505. The last bus will depart from Mortlake at 0055 and from Putney Bridge at 0101. These times apply on every day of the week.

Route 81 - Timetable change

From Saturday 27 July route 81 will operate to a revised timetable. There will be no changes to the frequency of route 81 with buses will continue to run every 12 minutes on Monday to Saturdays, every 15 minutes on Sundays and every 20 minutes during the evening.

On Monday to Fridays and Saturdays the first bus from Slough to Hounslow will depart at 0450 and run up to 5 minutes later with the first bus from Hounslow to Slough departing at 0432 and running up to 3 minutes earlier. During the evening buses will also be retimed with the last bus from Slough to Hounslow departing 5 minutes earlier at 0015 and running earlier throughout its journey. There will be no change to times of the last bus from Hounslow to Slough.

On Sundays the first bus from Slough to Hounslow will depart at 0450 and run up to 6 minutes later with the first bus from Hounslow to Slough departing at 0432 and running up to 6 minutes earlier. During the evening buses will also be retimed with the last bus from Slough to Hounslow departing 5 minutes earlier at 0015 and running earlier throughout its journey. There will be no change to times of the last bus from Hounslow to Slough.

Route 86 - School holiday timetable

From Monday 29 July a new school holiday timetable will be in operation on weekdays during the summer holiday on route 86. Buses will be retimed during the AM peak to better reflect traffic conditions with end to end journey times reduced by up to 6 minutes in both directions. There will be no change to times or frequency of buses at any other time.

School holiday schedules will remain in place until 31 August.

Route 115 - School holiday timetable

From Monday 29 July a new school holiday timetable will be in operation on weekdays during the summer holiday on route 115. From Monday 29 July a new school holiday timetable will be in operation on weekdays during the summer holiday on route 153. Buses will be retimed with end to end journey times in both the AM peak and daytime reduced by up to 6 minutes and in the PM peak by up to 9 minutes. There will be no change to times or frequency of buses at any other time. There will be no change to times or frequency of buses during the evening or at Weekends.

School holiday schedules will remain in place until 31 August.

Route 208 - Timetable change

From Monday 29 July a new school holiday timetable will be in operation on weekdays during the summer holiday on route 208. Buses will be retimed with end to end journey times in the AM peak reduced by up to 10 minutes and in the PM peak by up to 5 minutes.
On Saturday evenings buses will be retimed towards Orpington with journey times reduced and buses running up to 4 minutes earlier.

School holiday schedules will remain in place until 31 August.

Route 49 - Timetable change

From Saturday 20 July a new timetable will be introduced on route 49 following the completion of urban realm works at White City. The frequency of buses will be restored to every 8 minutes from Monday to Saturday and every 10 minutes on Sunday. There is no change to the level of service during the evening.

Route 53 - Timetable change

From Saturday 27 July a new timetable will be introduced on route 53. There will be no change to the frequency of the service but some end to end journey times on all days of the week will be changed to better reflect traffic conditions along the route.

Route 66 - Timetable change

From Saturday 27 July a new timetable will be introduced on route 66 which increases the frequency of the service from every 12 minutes to every 10 minutes all day from Monday to Friday. There will be no change to times or frequency of buses during the evening or on Saturday and Sunday.

Route 70 - Timetable change

From Saturday 13 July a new timetable will be introduced on route 70. There will be no changes to the frequency of the service however buses will be given more time to complete their end to end journey on every day of the week.

Route 121 - Rerouting

From Saturday 20 July route 121 will be diverted both directions due to the closure of Ponders End High Street.

Towards Enfield Lock Village buses will be diverted after bus stop C (Glyn Road) on Southbury Road via Nags Head Road, Mollison Avenue and Smeaton Road rejoining the normal route at Causeway Bridge/River Lee stop.
Towards Turnpike Lane buses will be diverted after Causeway Bridge/River Lee stop via Mollison Avenue,Nags Head Road and Southbury Road rejoining the normal route at bus stop D (Glyn Road).
Buses will serve all bus stops on the diversion route.

Route 175 - Timetable change

From Saturday 27 July a new timetable will be introduced on route 175 which increases the frequency of the service from every 12 minutes to every 10 minutes all day from Monday to Friday. There will be no change to times or frequency of buses during the evening or on Saturday and Sunday.

Route 196 - Timetable change

From Saturday 20 July a new timetable will be introduced on route 196 following the completion of water main works on Norwood Road. The frequency of buses will be restored to every 12 minutes from Monday to Saturday. There is no change to the level of service during the evening or on Sunday.

Route 256 - Timetable change

From Saturday 27 July a new timetable will be introduced on route 256 following the completion of works at Ardleigh Green Bridge. The frequency of buses will be restored to every 10 minutes during the morning and afternoon peak on Monday to Friday, and all day on Saturday. There is no change to the level of service during the evening or on Sunday.

Route 260 - Timetable change

From Saturday 13 July a new timetable will be introduced on route 260 following the completion of urban realm works at White City. The frequency of buses will be restored to every 12 minutes from Monday to Saturday and every 15 minutes on Sundays and in the evenings.

Route 269 - Timetable change

From Saturday 13 July a new timetable will be introduced on route 269. There will be no changes to the frequency of the service however buses will be given more time to complete their end to end journey on every day of the week.

Route 279 - Timetable change

From Saturday 20 July until 16 September 2019 route 279 will be diverted in both directions due to the closure of Ponders End High Street. A new timetable will operate to better reflect journey times on the diversion with buses given up to 10 minutes more to complete their journey between Ponders End and Waltham Cross..

On Monday to Friday the frequency will reduce to every 7-8 minutes during the day and to every 11 minutes in the evening. On Saturday the frequency will reduce to every 8-9 minutes during the day and to every 11 minutes in the evening. On Sunday the frequency of the service will reduce to every 11 all day.

Towards Waltham Cross buses will be diverted after bus stop H (Southbury Road/Ponders End) on Ponders End High Street via Southbury Road, Great Cambridge Road and Carterhatch Lane to Hertford Road re-joining the normal route at the bus stop EM (Oatlands Road).

Towards Manor House buses will be diverted after bus stop EB (Carterhatch Lane) on Hertford Road via Carterhatch Lane, Great Cambridge Road and Southbury Road to Ponders End High Street re-joining the normal route at the bus stop J (Southbury Road/Ponders End).

Buses will serve all bus stops on the diversion route.

Route 286 - Timetable change

From Saturday 13 July the timetable on route 286 will change with the frequency of the service during Sunday shopping hours and all evenings of the week will reduce to every 20 minutes to better match demand for the route. First bus on Monday to Friday from Queen Mary's Hospital will run up to 3 minutes earlier. Late evening buses from Queen Mary's Hospital towards Greenwich will run up to 3 minutes earlier.

Route 294 - Timetable change

From Saturday 27 July a new timetable will be introduced on route 256 following the completion of works at Ardleigh Green Bridge. The frequency of buses will be restored to every 12 minutes from Monday to Saturday. There is no change to the level of service during the evening or on Sunday.

Route 301

From Saturday 13 July, new route 301 will be introduced between Bexleyheath, Market Place and Woolwich, Beresford Street. Buses will run via Long Lane, Bostall Heath, New Road, Abbey Wood Station, Bentham Road, Thamesmead, Central Way, Thamesmead Industrial Estate, Nathan Way, Plumstead Station and Plumstead Road.

Buses will run every 12 minutes during the day on all days of the week and every 15 minutes during the evening. First buses will depart from Woolwich at 05:40 (07:02 Sundays) and 06:05 (07:30 Sundays) from Bexleyheath. Last buses will depart from Woolwich at 23:57 and 00:30 from Bexleyheath.

Route 301 will be operated with double decker buses. Note that the section of route along Long Lane between Bedonwell Road and Pickford Lane, and Brampton Road between Okehampton Crescent and Bostall Hill will be operated under Hail & Ride conditions.

Route 307 - Timetable change

From Saturday 20 July until 12 September 2019 route 307 will be diverted in both directions due to the closure of Ponders End High Street. A new timetable will operate to better reflect journey times on the diversion route. It will take up to 10 minutes more to complete journeys between Enfield Town and Brimsdown.

On Monday to Friday the frequency during the morning peak, during the day and afternoon peak will reduce to every 11 minutes. On Saturday the frequency during the day will reduce to every 11 minutes. There will be no change to the frequency during the evening or on Sunday.

Towards Brimsdown buses will be diverted after bus stop R (Great Cambridge Road) on Southbury Road via Great Cambridge Road, Carterhatch Lane, Hertford Road and Green Lane rejoining the normal route at the bus stop ET (Ashley Road).
Towards Barnet buses will be diverted after bus stop EH (Ashley Road) on Green Lane via Hertford Road, Carterhatch Lane, Great Cambridge Road and Southbury Road rejoining the normal route at the bus stop J (Great Cambridge Road).

Buses will serve all bus stops on the diversion route.

Route 316 - Timetable change

From Saturday 13 July a new timetable will be introduced on route 316 following the completion of urban realm works at White City. The frequency of buses will be restored to every 8 minutes from Monday to Saturday and every 12 minutes on Sunday and in the evening.

Route 401 - Timetable change

From Saturday 13 July a new timetable will be introduced on route 401. There will be no changes to the frequency of the service however new times will be in operation everyday of the week to better reflect traffic conditions along the route. Buses will now terminate at stop M at Bexleyheath Market Place.

Route 422 - Stop change

From Saturday 13 July route 422 will terminate at bus stop M at Bexleyheath Market Place.

Route 452 - Timetable change

From Saturday 13 July a new timetable will be introduced on route 452. There will be no change to the frequency of the route however some end to end journey times on everyday of the week have been reduced slightly to better reflect traffic conditions along the route.

Route B13 - Bus stop changes

From Saturday 10 August the hail and ride sections along the B13 route will be converted to fixed bus stop locations. There will be no change to the route or times of buses. From this date you will only be able to board & alight a route B13 bus at a fixed bus stop.

Route U10 - Timetable change

From Saturday 20 July a temporary timetable will be introduced from Monday to Saturday whilst HS2 works take place on Breakspear Road South. The temporary timetable is due to be in place until Monday 16 September 2019.

Route N277 - Timetable change

From Saturday 27 July a new timetable will be introduced on route N277. There will be no change to the frequency of the route however some end to end journey times on Monday to Thursday and on Sunday nights will be changed to better reflect traffic conditions along the route.
