Changes to route 414 - 13 November 2021

Route Affected: 414

Route 414 will run between Putney Bridge Station and Marble Arch only from Saturday 13 November, with a revised timetable.

The section of route between Marble Arch and Maida Hill will be covered by route 6 with passengers able to transfer between buses on route 6 and 414 at Marble Arch. Northbound towards Maida Hill same stop interchange can be made on Park Lane at bus stop W which is named Marble Arch. Southbound towards Putney Bridge same stop interchange between routes 6 and 414 can be made on Park Lane at bus stop R named Marble Arch Station / Park Lane.

The timetable will be revised with buses continuing to run every 8 minutes during the AM peak, daytime and PM peak on Monday to Fridays and during the daytime on Saturdays. During the evenings on Monday to Saturdays and all day on Sunday's route 414 will run every 12 minutes.

Timetable changes - 13 November 2021

Routes Affected: 13, 63, 110, 168, 258, 281, 283, 460, N63 and N65

Route 13 will have a new timetable from this date. Buses will be revised to run every 8-9 minutes during the AM & PM peak on Monday to Fridays and during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 10 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays. Route 13 will continue to run throughout the night at a bus every 30 minutes on all nights of the week.

Route 63 will have a new timetable from this date with the frequency of the service in the Monday to Friday AM peak towards Kings Cross increased to a bus every 5-6 minutes. The PM peak service will continue to run at a bus every 6 minutes. The daytime frequency on Monday to Saturdays will remain at every 7-8 minutes and the evening and Sunday service will remain at every 10 minutes. The route will be operated by Abellio London from this date.

Route 168 will have a new timetable from this date. Buses will be revised to run every 8-9 minutes during the AM & PM peak on Monday to Fridays and during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays.

Route 258 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

A special timetable will be in operation on routes 110 and 281 on Saturday 13 November only due to the rugby match taking place at Twickenham Stadium.

Route 283 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

The temporary timetable on route 460 will be removed with the frequency of the service restored to run every 12 minutes during the AM peak and PM peak on Monday to Fridays and during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 15 minutes during the evening and all days on Sundays.

Route N63 will have a new timetable on all nights of the week with minor changes to times. The route will be operated by Abellio London from this date.

Route N65 will have a new timetable on all nights of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

Timetable changes - 20 November 2021

Routes Affected: 87, 110 and 281

Route 87 will have a new timetable from this date. Buses will be revised to run every 7-8 minutes during the AM & PM peak on Monday to Fridays as well as during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays.

A special timetable will be in operation on routes 110 and 281 on Saturday 13 November only due to the rugby match taking place at Twickenham Stadium.

The A40 Westway will be closed between White City and Edgware Road eastbound only from 2200 on Friday 26 November until 0500 on Monday 29 November. Routes 6, 7, 16, 18, 23, 27, 28, 31, 46, 49, 52, 70, 72, 92, 95, 98, 112, 148, 205, 220, 226, 245, 260, 272, 283, 295, 297, 316, 328, 332, 390, 452, 607, C1 and N207 will have special schedules in operation on both the Saturday and Sunday to help reduce the impact the diverted traffic will have on local roads in the West London area.

Route 21 will have a new timetable from this date. Buses will be revised to run every 8-9 minutes during the AM & PM peak on Monday to Fridays and during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays.

Route 73 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

Route 75 will have a new timetable on Monday schooldays only with the current 1510 journey from Forest Hill School to Lewisham retimed to depart at 1445 instead. No change to the time of this journey on Tuesday to Friday schooldays.

Route 76 will have a new timetable from this date. Buses will be revised to run every 10 minutes during the AM & PM peak on Monday to Fridays and during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays. Route 76 will continue to run throughout the night at a bus every 30 minutes on all nights of the week.

Route 91 will have a new timetable from this date. Buses will be revised to run every 10 minutes on all days of the week except on Saturdays before 0800 and Sundays before 0930 when route 91 will run every 12 minutes instead.

Route 92 will have a new timetable from this date. Buses will be revised to run every 10 minutes during the AM & PM peak on Monday to Fridays and during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays.

A special timetable will be in operation on routes 110 and 281 on Saturday 13 November only due to the rugby match taking place at Twickenham Stadium.

Route 120 will have a new timetable on Saturdays with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 195 which will widen the frequency of the service on Monday to Fridays from 0700-2000 & Saturdays from 0900-2000 to every 13 minutes and on Sundays to every 16 minutes from 1000-1900. No change to the frequency outside of these times. This is due to the roadworks in place on South Road in Southall.

Route 242 will have a new timetable from this date. Buses will be revised to run every 10 minutes during the AM & PM peak on Monday to Fridays and during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays.

Route 243 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

Route 282 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

Route 433 will have a new timetable on Monday to Fridays with journey times in both the AM and PM peaks revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

Route 638 will have a new timetable in the morning with the 0747 journey from Bromley South to Kemnal College retimed to depart at 0737 and run 10 minutes earlier throughout.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route E5 which will widen the frequency of the service on Monday to Fridays from 0700-2000 & Saturdays from 0900-2000 to every 13 minutes. No change to the frequency outside of these times. This is due to the roadworks in place on South Road in Southall.

Route N73 will have a new timetable on Friday and Saturday nights with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

Route N242 will have a new timetable on all nights of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

Mitcham Bridge reopening - 6 December 2021

Routes Affected: 118, 280 and 718

Mitcham Bridge on London Road in Mitcham is set to reopen from Monday 6 December. When the bridge reopens route 118 will return to using Wandle Road instead of Morden Road in both directions and route 280 will remain on London Road and no longer divert via Wandle Road and Morden Road.

Route 718 will be withdrawn from the end of service on Sunday 5 December 2021.

Hammersmith Bridge closure

Routes Affected: 33, 72, 209, 378, 419, 485, 533, N33 and N72  

Hammersmith Bridge is currently closed to all users, including people walking and cycling, for safety reasons.

Routes 33, 209 and 485 are starting and finishing at the junction of Castelnau and Lonsdale Road to the south of Hammersmith Bridge. Route 72 continues to terminate on the north side of Hammersmith Bridge.

Circular route 533 has been introduced running from Hammersmith Lower Bus Station via Chiswick Bridge, Mortlake High Street, Barnes Bridge Station, Lonsdale Road to Castlenau then returning to Hammersmith via Barnes High Street, Barnes Bridge Station, Mortlake High Street and Chiswick Bridge. Route 533 runs every 10 minutes in the AM and PM peak on Monday to Fridays and every 12 minutes during the daytime on all days of the week. The evening frequency on all days of the week will remain at a bus every 15 minutes. First buses depart Hammersmith at 0448 and Castelnau at 0510. Last buses depart Hammersmith at 0050 and Castelnau at 0110.

More buses have also been added to route 378 which runs between Mortlake, Barnes High Street and Putney Bridge Station every 7-8 minutes on Monday to Saturdays and every 10 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays.

Route 419 is diverting at the southern end of Hammersmith Bridge to run to and from Roehampton, Bessborough Road replacing route 72 over this section. Route 419 runs every 12 minutes on Monday to Saturdays and every 20 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays.

Route N33 is diverting between Barnes, Red Lion and Hammersmith Bus Station via Lower Richmond Road, Putney Bridge and Fulham Palace Road. Route N72 is diverting between Barnes Station and Hammersmith Bus Station via Lower Richmond Road, Putney Bridge and Fulham Palace Road.

Long Term Diversions

Routes Affected: 8, 11, 25, 26, 28, 44, 60, 68, 81, 109, 119, 133, 166, 196, 306, 312, 322, 405, 407, 412, 423, 433, 455, 466, 468, EL1, EL3, N8, N11, N25, N26, N31, N44, N68, N109, N133, N242, N250 and N551.

As part of planned works for the new Barking Riverside development Fielders Crescent is closed. Route EL1 and the school journeys on route EL3 are starting and finishing at the road closure limit near to the new London Overground station development. Access to and from Riverside School is from the temporary terminus which is a short walk away from the main entrance. Bus services will be restored to the full length of Fielders Crescent once the road reopens at the end of January 2022.

Threadneedle Street is closed until further notice eastbound only with routes 8, 11, 26, N8, N11, N26 and N242 diverting between Bank and Liverpool Street via Lombard Street, King William Street, Gracechurch Street and Bishopsgate . Routes 133 and N133 are diverting in both directions between Monument and Liverpool Street Bus Station via Gracechurch Street, Bishopsgate and Wormwood Street. Route N551 towards Trafalgar Square is diverting from Camomile Street via Bishopsgate and Threadneedle Street to Bank and towards Gallions Reach buses from Bank Station via Princes Street, Moorgate, South Place, Eldon Street and Blomfield Street to London Wall.

Park Street in Croydon is closed eastbound until further notice with routes 60, 109, 433, 455, 468, N68, N109 and N250 towards West or East Croydon diverting via Katharine Street and Park Lane. Buses are not serving stop KE on Park Street and using stop KC on Park Lane instead.

Katharine Street in Croydon is part closed westbound until further notice with routes 60, 119, 166, 312, 405, 407, 412, 455, 466, 468 and N68 are diverting via Fell Road, Park Lane Roundabout and Edridge Road.

The slip road from Bath Road onto Colnbrook-by-Pass is currently closed eastbound for water main works until late December 2021. Route 81 is diverted towards Hounslow only between the bus stops at Moor Bridge and Pinglestone Close with buses diverting from Longford Roundabout via Stanwell Moor Road to Colnbrook-by-Pass. Route 423 is diverted towards Hounslow only between the bus stops at Heathrow Terminal 5 and Pinglestone Close with buses diverting from Longford Roundabout via Stanwell Moor Road to Colnbrook-by-Pass. Both routes will stop at bus stop S on Colnbrook-by-Pass (named Duke's Bridge) to pick up and set down passengers.

The contraflow bus lane northbound on Norwood Road at Tulse Hill has been closed to allow for a dangerous structure to be examined and fixed. Northbound buses on routes 68, 196, 322, 468 and N68 are diverting via the gyratory at Tulse Hill stopping at bus stop E on Christchurch Road to pick up and set down. The contraflow bus lane and bus stop F are expected to be closed until January 2022. 

North End Road in Fulham is closed southbound to allow for the remodelling of the market area. Routes 28, 306 and N28 are diverted from North End Road via Lillee Road, Munster Road and Dawes Road to Fulham Road. Buses will serve all stops to both set down and pick up on the diversionary route. North End Road is expected to reopen at the end of November 2021. 

Old York Road in Wandsworth is closed in both directions until January 2022 to allow National Rail to undertake works on the railway bridge. Routes 28, 44, N28 and N44 will divert via Swandon Way in both directions and will not be able to serve the bus stops at Wandsworth Town Station or Tonsley Street. Passengers requiring Wandsworth Town Station should instead use bus stops TB and TC (named Swandon Way) located on Swandon Way close to Wandsworth Roundabout.
