Easter bus service levels

Normal timetables up to and including Thursday 28 March 2024

Good Friday - 29 March - a Saturday timetable will operate on all day services and a normal Friday night service

Saturday - 30 March - a normal Saturday timetable will operate on all day and night services

Easter Sunday - 31 March - a normal Sunday timetable will operate on all day and night services

Easter Monday - 1 April - a Sunday timetable will operate on all day services and a normal Monday night service 

Tuesday 2 April - normal timetables resume

Changes to buses from Saturday 30 March 2024

The following timetable changes will take place from Saturday 30 March

Route 2 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Route 19 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

Route 97 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Route 113 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Route 153 will have a minor amendment to the route towards Finsbury Park with buses using Liverpool Road instead of Palmer Place between Mackenzie Road and Holloway Road. No stops are missed and there is no change to the timetable.

Route 249 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Route 262 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times. Route 262 will be operated by Go Ahead London from this date.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 368 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 13-14 minutes between 0700-1900 on Monday to Fridays and 1000-1900 on Saturdays and to every 21-22 minutes between 1000-1900 on Sundays. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during roadworks in the Movers Lane area.

Route 396 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Route 473 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times. Route 473 will be operated by Go Ahead London from this date.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route EL1 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 6-7 minutes between 0700-1900 on Monday to Fridays, to every 7 minutes between 1000-1900 on Saturdays and to every 11 minutes between 1000-1900 on Sundays. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during roadworks in the Movers Lane area.

This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during roadworks in the Movers Lane area.

Route N113 will have a new timetable on all nights of the week with minor changes to times.

Route N19 will have a new timetable on all nights of the week with minor changes to times.

Route N2 will have a new timetable on all nights of the week with minor changes to times.

Changes to buses from Saturday 6 April 2024

The following timetable changes will take place from Saturday 6 April

Route 273 will be rerouted in both directions via Winn Road and Exford Road to Burnt Ash Hill. Jevington Way and Senlac Road will no longer be served. This is due to issues with parked vehicles causing issues to buses.

Route S3 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Changes to buses from Saturday 13 April 2024

The following timetable changes will take place from Saturday 13 April

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 12 with the service returning to run every 12 minutes on all days of the week, every 30 minutes on Sunday to Thursday nights and every 20 minutes on Friday and Saturday nights.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 15 with the service returning to run every 12 minutes on all days of the week except on Saturday daytimes when the frequency will be every 10 minutes.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 24 with the service returning to run every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays and every 30 minutes on all nights of the week.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 87 with the service returning to run every 7-8 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 91 with the service returning to run every 10 minutes on all days of the week.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 115 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 8-9 minutes between 0700-1900 on Monday to Fridays & between 1000-1900 on Saturdays and to every 11 minutes between 1000-1900 on Sundays. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during roadworks in the East Ham area.

Route 195 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 207 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 6-7 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and to every 8-9 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during roadworks along the Ealing Road.

Route 306 will have a new timetable from this date. Buses will continue to run every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays will be increased to run every 15 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays. The times of first buses on Sundays will also be changed with the first bus now being at 0545 from Acton Vale (instead of 0605) and 0525 from Sands End Sainsbury's (instead of 0545). Route 306 will be run by Transport UK from this date.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 483 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 11 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and to every 13 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during roadworks along the Ealing Road.

School route 627 will have a new timetable to better reflect school start and finish times. AM peak journeys will be retimed to depart Worcester Park Station at 0720, 0724 and 0728 and run 8 minutes earlier along the route. In the PM peak buses will be retimed to depart Wallington High School for Girls at 1505, 1506 and 1525.

Route E3 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route K1 with the service returning to run every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 15 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route K2 with the service returning to run every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays, every 15 minutes during the daytime on Sundays and every 20 minutes during the evening on all days of the week.

Canada Water bus station temporary closure - from 2 March

From Saturday 2 March until mid-April, Canada Water bus station will be closed for improvement works. This closure will affect bus routes 1, 47, 188, 199, 225, 381, N199, P12, N381 and C10. Buses will be diverted or stop short of their normal destinations.

Canada Water Tube and Overground station will remain open during the closure. The information window at the bus station will also remain open for customers. During the works, allow extra time for your journey and use nearby alternative bus stops.

Long term diversions

Routes Affected: 57, 65, 71, 81, 85, 90, 110, 111, 131, 153, 213, 216, 222, 281, 285, 292, 350, 360, 371, 394, 406, 411, 418, 423, 452, 464, 465, 481, 671, 698, C1, E2, K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, N21, N65, N87, N137, R68, R70, U1, U3 and U5.

Kingston Cromwell Road bus station is closed until Summer 2024. Buses which normally stop in the bus station or on Cromwell Road are serving temporary stops, diverting or stopping short of their normal destinations. Stops A1 to A16 and Z1 as well as stop R on Wood Street are closed for the duration of the works. Two new temporary bus stops with shelters are located to the east of the bus station on Cromwell Road. Eden Street is partially closed southbound in Kingston Town Centre from 24 January until early March 2024. Routes 65, 71, 85, 281, 371, 406, 418, 465, K2, K3 & N65 will divert via Wheatfield Way serving a temporary stop that will be in place during the works.

Envoy Avenue in the Hatton Cross area is closed westbound while roadworks take place. Routes 90 towards Feltham, 285 towards Kingston and 423 heading towards Hounslow are diverted via the Eastern Perimeter Road and will be unable to serve bus stop M on Envoy Avenue, No change to buses in the eastbound direction. The closure will be in place until the end of May 2024.

Ship Hill is currently closed between Maesmaur Road & Borough Road for Thames Water works. Route 464 is only operating between New Addington and Biggin Hill, Stock Hill before diverting to start and finish at Biggin Hill, Kings Road. A minibus shuttle is in operation between Biggin Hill, Kings Road and Tatsfield running via Sunningvale Avenue, Ricketts Hill Road, Church Hill, Clarks Lane & Tatsfield Approach Road. This will be in place until at least 29 April 2024.

Route 394 is currently on diversion towards Homerton Hospital due to the closure of Wimbourne Street. Route 394 is diverting from Cropley Street via Eagle Wharf Road, New North Road, Baring Street, Bridport Place and Poole Street to New North Road. No stops will be missed. Buses towards Islington Angel will not be diverting and will remain on normal line of route. The diversion will now be in place until Summer 2024.

Beech Street in the Barbican area is currently closed westbound due to building works. Route 153 towards Finsbury Park is diverting after leaving Liverpool Street Bus Station with buses going via London Wall and Aldersgate Street to Barbican Station to get back on route. The stops on Moorgate and Chiswell Street will not be served. There is no change to the route towards Finsbury Park. This closure will be in place until November 2024.

Due to road layout changes at Kensal Rise Station by the local borough, route 452 is suspended between Ladbroke Grove, Sainsbury's and Kensal Rise Station until further notice. Passengers should use route 52 between Ladbroke Grove, Sainsbury's and Kensal Rise Station. Route 452 continues to run as normal between Ladbroke Grove, Sainsbury's and Vauxhall Bus Station every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays.

Due to the collapse of the carriageway on Station Approach at West Drayton Station buses are unable to serve the bus stops directly outside the northern entrance to West Drayton Station. For bus routes 222, 350, 698, U3 and U5 passengers should use bus stops H for southbound buses and stop G for northbound buses (both named Ferrers Road) on Station Road which is a short walk from the Warwick Road entrance to West Drayton station. Route U1 will set down at bus stop C and pick up from bus stop D on Horton Road. These arrangements will continue until the works to rectify the issues with the carriageway have been resolved.

Due to roadworks closing bus stops on Capitol Way in Colindale buses on route 292 are currently terminating at bus stop CX, named Carlisle Road, on Edgware Road. Towards Borehamwood buses on route 292 are currently starting at the temporary bus stop on Capitol Way located opposite the car park exit to Asda.

Due to the damage caused by a recent fire, Slough Bus Station is currently closed with bus route 81 unable to serve the Bus Station. Buses are terminating at bus stop H on Wellington Street opposite Tesco and picking up passengers from bus stop PQ outside Lloyds Bank on Slough High Street.
