Become a TfL supplier

Pre-qualification (rail, underground and major projects)

Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS)

The selection of suppliers to London Underground, Major Projects, Elizabeth Line, London Overground, Trams and Docklands Light Railway makes use of a qualification scheme called RISQS.

We use RISQS to select suppliers who meet the criteria for our competitive tendering processes. RISQS is an independent industry-wide selection scheme and is also used by Network Rail. Find out more about RISQS.

Suppliers need to register in RISQS should they wish to supply to any of the TfL business areas stated above. Additionally, suppliers may need to undergo a health and safety audit to obtain the Industry Minimum Requirements (IMR) assurance rating. This audit is undertaken through RISQS.

If suppliers have any questions regarding our use of RISQS, then please email us at RISQS@tfl.gov.uk

Electronic tendering

Our eTendering system, ProContract, is a web-based tendering tool that supports procurement activities and collaboration between the buyer and supplier.

If you are a supplier you should register on ProContract before tendering for opportunities with TfL.
