Special Educational Needs and Disability
We have experience and training in working with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (including autistic spectrum disorder and emotional and behavioural disorders). We adapt the presentation for your students' needs.
If your school has visited a local Junior Citizenship Scheme, you won't need a visit from us.
Due to the diversity of SEND schools, we will discuss the specific needs of your students at the time of booking to make sure we are the best service for you. This will give you the opportunity to discuss what works best for your pupils.
Sessions last from 45 minutes to an hour. Our presentations contain videos and images to support learning. We use role play to act out scenarios, such as boarding the bus and getting help. All of our videos are fully subtitled for accessibility.
Topics covered will vary considerably depending on the students at your school. Typically, we would cover:
- Getting help
- Recognising uniform
- Boarding a bus
- Making a journey
- Active travel choices
If you're wondering whether the presentation would be suitable for your students, please call us on 020 7565 7303 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss presentation content.
