Developers and suppliers

They include our Property Partnership Framework, direct-development, site-specific partnerships and Connected Living London - our Build to Rent portfolio.

We put out sites to market through mediums including our Property Partnership Framework and the London Development Panel 2.

Property Partnership Framework

In February 2016 we appointed 13 major property development companies and consortia to a development framework which will help to provide the thousands of homes, offices and retail spaces vital to keep London growing.

The 13 organisations were selected following a competitive procurement process with more than 50 companies registering their interest in becoming one of our property partners.

Our framework allows us to work in joint ventures with some of the best developers in the market, on land in London's iconic locations. It works more efficiently than procuring joint venture development partners on a site-by-site basis. The wider GLA family will also be able to use the framework to bring forward developments on their sites.

The 13 companies and consortiums selected are:

  • Balfour Beatty PLC
  • Barratt Development PLC / London and Quadrant Housing Association (Consortium)
  • Berkeley Group PLC
  • The British Land Company PLC
  • Canary Wharf Group PLC
  • Capital and Counties PLC
  • U+I / Notting Hill Housing Group (Consortium: Triangle London Developments)
  • Land Securities Group PLC
  • Mace Limited / Peabody Trust / DV4 Limited (Consortium)
  • Mount Anvil Group Limited / Hyde Housing Association Limited
  • Redrow Homes Ltd
  • Stanhope PLC / Mitsui Fudosan Company Limited
  • Taylor Wimpey UK Ltd

In addition to our Property Development Framework and Connected Living London we also put out sites through the London Development Panel 2 (LDP2). Find out more about LDP2 on the GLA website

Small Sites Programme

The Small sites small builders programme is a GLA initiative to enable public sector organisations in London to bring forward smaller development sites for residential development. TfL has been engaged in this programme with the GLA since 2017.

We are currently working on releasing a third wave of sites. Find out more about these sites on the GLA website.

Build to Rent

We currently work with Grainger PLC on our Build to Rent portfolio under Connected Living London. This will initially provide seven sites across London of which 40% will be affordable.
