TfL Ref: 4624-1718

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 21 February asking for information about payments to suppliers for the periods 20 August 2017 to present.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

The information will be published  on our website shortly for periods 6 and 7 (up to 14 October 2017), then periods 8 and 9 (up to 9 December 2017) will follow shortly after this in early / mid March which is in line with our policy of transparency for all payments over £250.

The data on the website has to go through a governance and review process before it can be published in order to ensure it is correct.  There is normally a lead period of around four months.

Therefore in accordance with the FOI Act, TfL is not obliged to supply you with the contract you have requested as it is subject to a statutory exemption to the right of access to information, under Section 22 of the Act. In this instance the exemption has been applied as the information you have requested is intended for future publication. It will be published here: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/expenditure-over-250.

This exemption is subject to a public interest test, which requires us to assess whether the public interest in applying the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosure. In this instance, it is considered that the public interest favours the publication of this information, in context and according to the pre-determined schedule, rather than in response to your request, to ensure the information is provided accurately and in an accessible manner.

If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
