Recently Hackney Council submitted plans to Transport for London for protected cycle tracks on Shoreditch High Street. Please can you supply the diagrams of these plans and any correspondence or documentation detailing the reasons not to progress with this scheme

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested as the London Borough of Hackney have not submitted any plans to Transport for London (TfL) for protected cycle tracks on Shoreditch High Street.

We, in conjunction with London Borough of Hackney, are looking to improve cycling and walking in the Shoreditch High Street area.  Proposals are in very early development and are yet to be agreed internally or with our stakeholders. Any agreed proposals will be made available to the public during the consultation process.
