Thank you for your request received on 28 February 2020 asking for information about Crossrail2.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.

The total spend on the project to the end of Feb 2020 (since 01/04/2014) was £112.47m. The total spend on the project to the end of 2019/20 is estimated to be £114.52m. The taxpayer’s contribution to this was £55.93m, with the remainder funded from TfL’s business plan.
