Thank you for your email received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23 March 2019.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked:

Please see the attached spreadsheet which shows collisions recorded as occurring on a tram line or involving a tram where a pedal cyclist was injured. Data is from January 2009 to end August 2018 which is the latest information we have on our database. Please note all 2018 records are currently provisional and subject to change. The description of how the collision occurred is the reporting officer's opinion at the time of reporting and may not be the result of an extensive investigation.
Unfortunately since November 2016 we are unable to provide a description of how the collision occurred due to changes in the way the police record collision information.
Our data is recorded by the police using DfT guidelines and we only receive details of collisions involving personal injury that occur on the public highway. More details are available on the DfT website https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/road-accidents-and-safety-statistics-guidance
London Trams have about 3800 metres of embedded track that a cyclist could access, however 1250m is regarded as tram only. Therefore only 2550m (1.58 miles) is shared space. This doesn’t included level crossings.
We are committed to reducing road danger as part of our Vision Zero commitment, which aims to eliminate death and serious injury by 2041.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
Yours sincerely
