Can you let me know please (with reasons if possible) how many times this year (2019) to date (11/03/19) D8 bus route from Crossharbour to Stratford has been curtailed before Stratford.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked:
Can you let me know please (with reasons if possible) how many times this year (2019) to date (11/03/19) D8 bus route from Crossharbour to Stratford has been curtailed before Stratford.
Please find the attached spreadsheet which shows curtailment summary by reporting week over the last year to the most available date we hold data for. Each stop point is assigned with number of scheduled and actual buses over the whole week. The lost trips counts are split into four columns indicating if trips were lost in full, at the beginning, in the middle or at the end of the journey. The last few columns show the same data in percentages.
Out of the trips that curtailed before reaching Stratford:
81.5% of trips were lost due to traffic. These trips could have been severely delayed by traffic at any area the D8 runs through, not necessarily at Stratford end.
8.6% of trips were lost due to mechanical issues.
0.6% of trips were lost due to staff.
9.3% of trips were lost due to other reasons within or beyond bus operator control.
Please note the data does not include unscheduled trips.
