Can London Borough Councils, use the ULEZ cameras to monitor and act, on heavy duty vehicles using limited weight restriction roads, ie 7.5 ton limits?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 16 January 2025 asking for information about ULEZ cameras.

 

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. 

 

I can confirm that we do hold the information you require. London Borough Councils do not have access to ULEZ cameras – these cameras are only used for enforcing TfL’s Road User Charging schemes.
