I've been redirected to yourselves by Customer Service so I wonder if you can help me with my query. Could you please tell me when CCTV cameras were installed at Stockwell Station and also when the BTP station was opened there as well.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 5 March 2019 asking for information about when CCTV cameras were installed at Stockwell Station and also when the BTP station was opened there.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.
The information you asked for is available in a publicly available report entitled ‘Reducing Crime on the London Underground’ (circa 1992).
The report states that CCTV cameras were first installed at Stockwell, Clapham Common and Brixton in December 1975. In January 1985 the British Transport Police office was opened at Stockwell
