Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 2 March 2023 asking for ICT documents.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

Please find attached the Technology & Data (T&D) Roadmap, which includes the senior management structure. Some information has been redacted from this document it is subject to a statutory exemption to the right of access to information under section 24 - national security and section 31(1)(a) - prevention and detection of crime.

Please also find attached the recently approved PIC paper which provides the financial plan for T&D.

Transport for London does not have a ‘Corporate Procurement Strategy’. Our procurement activities are governed by TfL’s Standing Orders, which are available to view on our website here:

In addition, we aim to conduct our procurement and commercial activities efficiently, to the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all legal requirements, UK procurement regulations and industry best practice. Details of which are set out within our Procurement and Contracting Policy (a copy is attached to for reference).

For the procurement of certain commodities (goods/works/services) and/or categories of commodities procured by us, an individual ‘pre-procurement strategy’ may be developed by the Procurement & Commercial lead, in conjunction with the relevant business area(s). This describes what we are procuring, our market engagement approach, how we will achieve value for money on a whole-life cost basis and how different risks will be allocated and managed.

It may be of interest to you that we publish details of our future contract opportunities for all areas of TfL, the GLA and Old Oak Park Development Corporation (OPDC) with an estimated contract value over £500,000 periodically on our website via the link below:
