TfL Ref: 3089-1819

Thank you for your email received by us on 14 February 2019 asking for information about the lack of Wi-Fi at Moorgate tube station.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  We don’t hold any specific documents directly relating to your request.

Moorgate station has Wi-Fi in the ticket hall area. It does not have Wi-Fi in the rest of the station because the station has been undergoing major changes as a result of Crossrail works and the development of a building above the station area.

We are currently considering whether we can install Wi-Fi in the rest of the station in the next stage of extension of capability across the networks.

If this is not the information you are looking for, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely
