Please find below Freedom of Information request for your consideration and response:
Please provide details of all casino operators within London who currently hold London Private Vehicle Operator’s Licences from TfL and the Operating Centres to which those licences relate. In particular, please also include within your response confirmation of whether the following casino establishments hold PHV licences and the Operating Centres to which those licences relate. This information is not clear from your online Private Hire Operator Licence Checker search facility, where it appears a licence number is required to get a reliable result:
• Les Ambassadeurs Club Limited (company number 02708889) operating from 5 Hamilton Place, London, W1J 7ED.
• Aspinall’s Club Limited (company number 02495259) trading as Crown London Aspinalls operating from 27-28 Curzon Street, London, W1J 7TJ.
• Metropolitan Mayfair Limited (company number 02690210) of 55 Baker Street London, England, W1U 8EW and operating from Park Lane Club, 14 Old Park Lane, London, W1K 1ND and Playboy Club London.
Also the following Metropolitan Mayfair-Group brands:
o London Clubs LSQ Limited (company number 05152337) operating from Empire Casino, 5-6 Leicester Square, London WC2H 7NA.

• Genting Casinos UK Limited (company number 01519689) operating from:

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 13 February 2023 asking for information about private hire operator licences.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we do hold the information you require. However, we are unable to provide details of all private hire operator licence holders that are associated with, or that share a premises with, a casino in London as we do not store information in this way and would need to manually check over 1,500 private hire operator licences to collate this information which would exceed the ‘appropriate limit’ of £450 set by the Freedom of Information (Appropriate Limit and Fees Regulations 2004).
Under section 12 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to comply with a request if we estimate that the cost of determining whether we hold the information, locating and retrieving it and extracting it from other information would exceed the appropriate limit. This is calculated at £25 per hour for every hour spent on the activities described.
We have however, manually checked the list of businesses you have provided and can confirm that only Genting Casinos UK Ltd hold a private hire operator licence (licence no. 5403).

Partial searches may be carried out by using the wildcard '*' (asterisk) at the beginning or end of your search criteria.
