Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 12th December 2024 asking for information about future tenders related to telephony contracts.

 

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

 

Your questions are answered in turn below:

 

Question 1: The requirements and criteria for businesses to participate in telephony services tenders.

 

Answer: There is no single set of requirements or criteria. Each procurement will have its own specific requirements and award criteria which are detailed in the tender documents. Note that more general information about working with TfL as a supplier can be found on our website here: Procurement information - Transport for London (tfl.gov.uk) The “Supplier Guide” is currently being updated and should be available in a matter of weeks.

 

Question 2: Any upcoming or planned tenders related to telephony, including business mobile services, VoIP, or other related solutions.

Question 3: The documentation or certifications required to be eligible to bid.

 

Answer: As above in answer to Question 1, each procurement will have specific requirements that may also include certain certifications and standards as part of the requirements.

 

Question 4: Key evaluation metrics or factors that are considered during the tendering process.

 

Answer: See answer to Question1. Some key criteria include the following, but again this is subject to each procurement activity: Technical, Commercial, Social Value, Cyber Security. 

 

Question 5: Any guidelines or procedures related to submitting proposals.

 

Answer: See answer to Question 1 and the link provided with that answer. All procurement documentation will detail the process for submitting tenders.
