TfL Ref: FOI-2864-1819

Thank you for your email received by Transport for London (TfL) on 22 January 2019.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm we do hold  the information you require. You asked:

Please advise the specific reasons why routes A10,U7 427 and 607 were selected to be in the colour coded trial as none of them go through any part of the Hayes Town area while the U1 and U3 which were not selected also do not go through Hayes Town.  What common elements were used to determine route selection.

Our scheme to make services and the places they serve more visible was focused around Hayes, not Hayes Town; a broader part of London where population has been growing. The area Hayes End (centred on Uxbridge Road) has routes A10,U7 427 and 607 passing through. The U1 and U3 do not go to any parts of Hayes.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
