Can I please see all of the photos of Santander cycles that have gone in for maintenance in 2018 and 2019 with a log of the type of damage to each bike? I am interested in the most common types of damage for Santander cycles.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 19 December 2019 asking for information about our cycle hire scheme.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.  You asked for all of the photos of Santander cycles that have gone in for maintenance in 2018 and 2019 with a log of the type of damage to each bike.

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested as our contractors don’t take photos of cycles that come in for maintenance. In addition, the reports on maintenance only say that the cycle has been fixed and quality assurance checked as safe to be released back into the scheme rather than used to log any damage.
