Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 9th March 2022 asking for information about the cost of the cycle lane installation on Mansell Street.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“Can you please provide the FULL contract costs for the cycle lane being installed in Mansell Street?”
The Mansell Street cycle lane - and associated pedestrian and bus facility upgrades - commenced on-site in January 2022 and are not due to complete until April 2022. The full contract costs for the work will not be known until it is completed, and therefore we are only able to provide the estimated final costs at this time. The total Estimated Forecast Cost for the project is £1.6m from project inception through to construction close.
