To include: when role become vacant, which team it was in, if it moved teams, from which team did it move from and to and when it moved, what grade and seniority (team lead, senior engineer etc. ). Team means at EMC, Safety or where they report to a band 4 or a team lead (band 3) level, which ever is the lowest reportable grade. Thank you for your request received by us on 11 December 2019 asking for information about central engineering vacancies since transformation during July 2018.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for:

a list of central engineering vacancies since transformation July ish 2018. Recruitment campaigns commenced in Engineering following the transformation Go live July 2018.

The campaigns were in phases, the first of which was at Band 4 level. 

There were a number of vacant roles following transformation and a steady flow of attrition.  A large campaign was launched In October 2018.  Roles were advertised internally and externally in tandem.  Not all positions were filled immediately; some were rolled through into the next campaign in February 2019, with further ongoing recruitment throughout the year.  Some roles were held and advertised later depending on the level of demand.

Central Engineering vacancies placed into recruitment are provided below:
