Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. The signs bearing 1359m and 1259m are our assets. Both signs indicate to the motorist not to commit a U turn for the distance specified as the road ahead has a 40mph speed limit therefore to carry out such a manoeuvre would be extremely dangerous.
