TfL Ref: FOI-2710-2021 Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23 March 2021. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require. You asked: - Why the permanent bus stops along the 456 Route, either where the road was not served by buses before, or on hail and ride sections of the old W10 route, were not installed before the route’s introduction We have worked closely with the London Borough of Enfield to develop plans to install new fixed bus stops on route 456. Unfortunately the installation programme was delayed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and it has not been possible to site all fixed stops in advance of the introduction of route 456. However, we have sited temporary bus stops at locations where fixed stops are yet to be installed and this has provided access to the new route throughout its length. We will continue to work closely with Enfield to ensure that the remaining fixed stops are introduced as soon as possible. - When each new permanent bus stop is expected to be installed The below table shows dates for the installation of all bus stops. Most of the dates for the stops in green cells should have been completed by now. Those in yellow cells are tentative or planned.
