I am writing to make a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I would like Transport for London to provide any information held relating to the expenditure on legal fees in respect of the Inquests arising from the deaths in the Westminster Terror Attack of 22 March 2017.
For the avoidance of doubt this request includes information held in respect of:
• The total amount spent on counsel fees during the inquest
• The total amount spent on solicitors fees during the inquest

Thank you for your request received on 15 January 2019 asking for information about our legal fees regarding the Westminster Bridge inquests.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require.
The following legal costs were incurred by TfL instructing Counsel to advise and represent TfL at the inquests arising from the deaths on Westminster Bridge on 22 March 2017: £15,600 exclusive of VAT.
TfL’s internal legal team provided legal advice and support to TfL for the inquests. We do not record costs incurred by TfL’s internal legal team for these purposes.
