TfL Ref: 2659-2122

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 17 February 2022 asking for information about the impacts on bus journey times on bus routes neighbouring Enfield's Fox Lane Quieter Neighbourhood scheme.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for:
- any reports prepared for TfL or Enfield Council on the impacts of bus journey times of the Fox Lane Quieter Neighbourhood scheme on bus routes neighbouring the scheme.
- any evaluation or assessment reports in relation to bus transport prepared for Enfield Council in relation to the Fox Lane Quieter Neighbourhood scheme since 2019.
-and/or any reports on impacts on bus journey times of the above scheme prepared for Enfield Council between September 2020 to date.

Enfield Council has published a large amount of information on this scheme on their website which is available at the following link and there may be an overlap with the data we are also providing to you in relation to this request: https://governance.enfield.gov.uk/ecSDDisplay.aspx?NAME=SD4189&ID=4189&RPID=95513361

In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere.
Please see the attached reports that we hold, as requested. The pdf of the emails contains an analysis of bus journey time undertaken by TfL and sent to Enfield Council.

An analysis of bus journey times undertaken by TfL showed that journey times are now higher for routes 121 and W9 compared to pre-pandemic levels, however TfL has requested Enfield Council look into measures to mitigate these impacts.

Please note that in accordance with TfL’s obligations under Data Protection legislation some personal data has been removed, as required by section 40(2) of the FOI Act. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
