Freedom of Information request - Bus passenger journey times
Request ID: FOI-2584-1819
Date published: 04 June 2019
You asked
Dear Transport for London,
I made the following request https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/travel_in_london_report_9_data_r#incoming-1281689 :
" I am particularly interested in bus travel data, particularly N6, N19 and N7. I am especially interested to know if you have any data from Oyster cards/swipe pay (London wide or otherwise) that indicates whether there have been changes over time in:
a/ The modal average speed of bus journeys per passenger per day (rather than per bus) and inter-quartile range b/ The modal average length of bus travel per passenger per day and inter-quartile range c/ The percentage of bus passenger travel days involving a single bus journeys, two, three, four, five, six etc separating Monday to Friday data, Saturday data and Sunday data."
which was refused on the basis of cost.
However, no indication was given in the refusal as to the databases TfL hold or their nature so it's virtually impossible to be sure to construct my request in a way that is sure to fall within the cost limits. Please provide the information you hold of bus passenger journey times and whether they are increasing from one year to another.
