Thank you for your email received by us on 15 March 2017 asking for documentation over the last 12 months on proposals to increase train frequency to Enfield Town.

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested as there has been no further development since our previous response of 12 May 2016 (ref 0127-1617), when we advised that: ‘Subject to agreement with National Rail and availability of funding for new rolling stock, we plan to increase service levels between London Liverpool Street and Enfield Town from 4 trains per hour during peak periods and 2 trains per hour off-peak to 4 trains per hour all day with the addition of a 2 trains per hour shuttle between Seven Sisters and Enfield Town in the Peak (07:30-09:30 and 16:30-19:30) in May 2019. The additional shuttle services in the peak would require the use of the chord connecting the Tottenham & Hampstead and Southbury lines as a turn-back. We continue to work with Network Rail to confirm the feasibility of these services in terms of conflicts with East Anglia Franchise services to / from Hertford East and impacts on level crossings’.

The concession agreement will be published on our website once it has been finalised.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely
