Please, could you provide the number of road accident casualties between 01/01/2019 - present. Can this be sub-divided into; total, pedestrian, cyclist and motorcyclist casualties. And, fatal, serious and slight casualties.

Thank you for your email received by us on 19 November 2019 asking for information about road accident casualties in 2019.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked for:
the number of road accident casualties between 01/01/2019 - present. Can this be sub-divided into; total, pedestrian, cyclist and motorcyclist casualties. And, fatal, serious and slight casualties.
We are committed to do everything in our power to make London’s streets safer. In line with Vision Zero, our goal is to eliminate all deaths and serious injuries from
London’s streets in the long-term. Under a Vision Zero approach we will focus on reducing the dominance of motor vehicles on our streets and we will ensure that road danger reduction is central to all transport-related activity. Please see the following link to our website for further information:

As some of the information you are seeking for 2019 will be published in July 2020, in this instance an exemption has been applied to the remainder of your request as it is intended for future publication, namely s22 of the FOI Act. The information is currently still being collated, which will then require additional review to ensure its validity and accuracy. The information is scheduled to be published in summer 2020.
