Please could you disclose if there are any restrictions on tube drivers recording their own videos for use on social media amd if there is a blanket policy, or does it vary line by line? If this exists, when was it last updated

Thank you for your request which we received on 3 November 2024, asking about a policy for tube drivers filming content for social media. 

 

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require. 

 

Our guidance explicitly states that no electronic devices should be used in train cabs. Filming content on personal devices such as mobile phones and GoPros would fall under this guidance. We have recently responded to a similar FOI request and our response is published here:
