TfL Ref: FOI-2470-2425
Thank you for your request which we received on 31 October 2024, asking for information about Board meeting papers.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.
We publish meeting papers for the Board and its Committees and Panels on our website, as a matter of course, before each meeting. These papers remain on our website thereafter and are accessed via the How We Are Governed page.
Unfortunately, the meeting papers from August 2021 to August 2024 have been temporarily unavailable since October due to measures taken to address the recent cyber-attack on TfL. We expect the links to the meeting pages to be restored shortly.
The requested information is therefore being withheld under section 22 of the FOI Act. Section 22 provides an exemption to the release of information where it is due for publication at some future date and where, in all the circumstances of the case, it is reasonable to withhold it until publication.
The use of this exemption is subject to an assessment of the public interest in relation to the disclosure of the information concerned. We recognise the need for openness and transparency by public authorities and the particular public interest in disclosure of this information. However in this instance, it is considered that the public interest favours the publication of this information, in context and according to the pre-determined schedule, rather than in response to your request, to ensure the information is provided accurately and in an accessible manner.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
