Water Fountains

You asked

As of today, please can you tell me how many tube stations operated by TFL have water taps/fountains for use by the public. If possible, a list of all the stations with this facility would be useful.

Thank you for your request received on 31 October 2024 asking for information about public water fountains at London Underground stations.

 

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require. 

 

A list of fountains at London Underground stations completed for the programme run by the Greater London Authority (GLA) is available on their website:

All the fountains installed by GLA on TfL property remain owned by Thames Water (under contract to GLA) for the duration of their operation. 

 

Under section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to provide you with information which is reasonably accessible by other means.
