Thank you for your email received by us on 3 March 2019 asking for a copy of the Blackfriars Road tree surgeons report.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy. I can confirm that we the information you require. You asked for the following information:

On Thursday 23rd of February the tree outside Metro House on Blackfriars Road fell. Under the freedom of information act I would like the report from the tree surgeons. From when they came and removed the tree.

I have already checked with Southwark council in which they said tfl should have the information.

Please find attached the requested tree report for Blackfriars Road, undertaken by our Arboriculture and Landscape Manager.

In reference to the construction of the Cycle Superhighways mentioned in this report, we can confirm that the kerb line was not moved during these works.

Please note that in accordance with TfL’s obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) some personal data has been withheld, as required by regulation 13 of the EIR. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the DPA, specifically the first principle of the DPA which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions of Schedule 2 of the Data Protection Act which would make the processing ‘fair’.
