Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations (EIRs) and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:
1) When did Harrow on the Hill station last test the live public announcements to ensure that they are no more than 10dB(A) above the ambient noise in the area?
TfL’s engineers attended to test the system last week and found some fault with the PA equipment.
2) What were the results of this test? What was the precise decibel range above the ambient noise?
Repair works are currently ongoing to repair the fault. I am told that no decibel reading has been given at present.
